PB&J Smoothie
Ingredients:
2 pitted medjool dates
ΒΌ cup of goat milk kefir (or yogurt of your choice)
1 cup of water (or milk)
1 Β½ cups of frozen strawberries
Β½ cup frozen or fresh blueberries
ΒΌ cup rolled oats
2 big spoonfuls of peanut butter
Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until fluffy and smooth.
Note: I keep my medjool dates in the fridge (and you may consider doing the same!) which makes them hard to blend. When making this smoothie, I always start by pitting my dates then covering them in hot water to soften them up while gather other ingredients. Works like a charm!
