PB&J Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 2 pitted medjool dates

  • ΒΌ cup of goat milk kefir (or yogurt of your choice)

  • 1 cup of water (or milk)

  • 1 Β½ cups of frozen strawberries

  • Β½ cup frozen or fresh blueberries

  • ΒΌ cup rolled oats

  • 2 big spoonfuls of peanut butter

Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until fluffy and smooth.

Note: I keep my medjool dates in the fridge (and you may consider doing the same!) which makes them hard to blend. When making this smoothie, I always start by pitting my dates then covering them in hot water to soften them up while gather other ingredients. Works like a charm!
