Jargaritas
Ever almost finish a jam jar and get frustrated by trying to get the last little bits out of the bottom? No more! Make a “jar-garita” instead. This recipe could be adapted with other liquors, you could top with fizzy water or add in fresh fruit or herbs as garnish. Super adaptable, super easy.
Ingredients
1 nearly empty jam jar, flavor of your choosing
2 ounces of cold tequila blanco
1 ounce of lime juice
2 tablespoons of fresh orange juice
Instructions
Combine all ingredients in your jam jar. Shake well and vigorously without ice to combine the jammy bits into the liquid. Once you’re confident the mixture is well combined, add in ice and shake again until your cocktail is cold. Finish with a pinch of kosher salt and serve on the rocks, either in your jar or in a chilled glass.
A note: I don’t add any agave or sweetener because the jam is typically quite sweet. If you like your margarita sweeter, feel free to add ½ ounce of agave syrup!
Enjoy!
