Nina Sloss

As a New Orleans native, Nina Sloss isn’t afraid of butter 🧈 . A recent graduate of the New Orleans Culinary and Hospitality Institute, Nina is a baker by day, margarita 🍹 enthusiast by night. Currently residing in NYC’s 🏙 West Village, Nina offers Sunday Suppers to bring her warm 🌞 southern roots to east coasters - in the form of casseroles, entrees, and more (!).

At the moment, a few of her favorite dishes include lamb bolognese 🍝 , brown butter salmon, and of course, chocolate chip cookies 🍪 . In a past life, Nina worked in Public Relations and politics but found her passion for cooking and baking as a grounding discipline in the midst of the chaos 💥 .

Now Nina is the founder of Sloppy Saucy, a publication inspired by her enthusiasm 😍 for accessible, fun, seasonal cuisine.
